The NATO and USA are not scared, they are sending Ukraine billions of dollars every month, weapons and ammunition. The reason why NATO and USA are not sending the military there is because Ukraine is handling it fairly well already. Russia for months now is unable to capture new territories. If Putin has as much power as they claim, he would've taken over Ukraine and no one would've done shit about it.
