well i'm not gonna seethe, i was a movie autist for years, i watched too many hollywood films and then moved onto european cinema and asian cinema afterwards. My personal favourite is still east asian films like Memories of Murder and the comfy small town films by Koreeda

U shoulda watch definitely pulp fiction and seven and matrix 1,2,3 and 4 even though most ppl say matrix 4 is trash. But what they don’t seem to understand, is the symbolism and numerology type shit in matrix 4. that’s why they say it’s trash lol. the and watch eyes wide shut

Ah i see. I also heard somewhere that 20-30 minutes of movie material cut down on eyes wide shut and the director died shortly after/before the release of the movie. Idk if that’s true, but honestly that sounds a bit scary

I watched it, pretty predictable ngl ( I knew he was making shit up since the beginning )
but the ending still shocked me, he chose to lobotomize himself because he couldn't bear the trauma after the doctors broke his cycle

watched it, ending was sad ngl

the symbolisms, and the easter eggs connected to water I noticed that when I was first watching it, but then when I saw the plot twist it made more sense
