and i don't mean like when people say shit like Bruno/American Pie etc couldn't be made today cause those people obviously don't understand what those types of films are and what the malicious intent behind them is.

i would venture to say the Sopranos would have to be seriously changed if it were to be released today. and taxi driver. both showcase masculinity as an important thing and in particular the sopranos shows that hierarchies are needed to maintain some kind of dignified society. this is a genuinely subversive concept in the clown world that is 2020.
