The most effective way to reshape bone is to move the teeth. When the teeth move, the jaw is forced to follow its movements. When you clench your teeth with the incisors it will make the lower teeth go down which will logically bring down the whole bone structure, the clenching with the incisors is the worst thing, you just have to chew with the premolars.

Bringing up the upper incisors of the maxilla will give ccw rotation, i.e. raising the maxilla to support the eyes, nose, mandible and cheekbones. In addition, putting a lot of force on the maxilla with the teeth can have the benefit of loosing the sutures of the maxilla.

if bones are so easy to be reshaped why dont your face get disfigured just by getting punched by an average male?

Shit thread by greycel.
You’ll just get an overbite if u move ur teeth not maxilla

while tipping the incisors forward can visually mimic the forward movement of the lf1 area, I would not see it as a first line of treatment
perhaps it can be (and is, as incisors are decompensated almost always when bimax is performed) used for minor aesthetic corrections of the lip position

What he means is moving the teeth with the bone but that’s impossible by just moving the teeth

Because you need constant force. And it works quickly only in puberty. Low iq

It will not get an overbite, it will reshape the bones if the base of the teeths moves. Bones needs to move by the direction of the force applied on the base of the teeths. Lowkey

how are you going to apply this constant force

I did not read

If you move your bones and teeth yes it’s good but unless you put a screw inside the bone and apply pressure internally (inside the bone) then your teeth will just move without it

He means that bone will slowly follow the teeth through bone remoddlling over time. But I think it depends on your bone replacement rate. Move it too fast and teeth will move through bone and it will result in issues, move it slowly and it should be better, but will take ages. You see this in cases of adult teeth arch expansion using braces (they can expand too, not just compress)/invisalign. Cortecotomy (alveolar bone cuts) is performed to speed it up and improve outcomes.

if your teeth move BONE cannot follow due to them not being a part of the jaws just anchored in. When you remove a tooth, jaw bone doesn’t come out also.

Only way is to use a device that produces internal pressure or cut it laterally and move it.

I'm too lazy to cite sources now but it's known process, iirc. I was mostly having mandible in mind. There are no sutures. Also, removing teeth can result in bone loss due to lack of pressure.

stupid its the palate

Nothing will change with short term force no matter how strong the force is. You need hard and constant force to change the facial bones. There are even studies that say that the facial bones like maxilla and mandible are the most malleable bones. Look up some studies bro.

And actually to move the maxilla you need to push in the front of the palate foward and upward while separating both maxillas.
