To me it's non existent. If you didn't make this post I wouldn't have known about it. What makes u say this? Where r u getting this from

For you to contact it would need an intimate connection . Safe to say most people here wouldn't catch it. Over for slayers tho.

Nothing Ever Happens
Stuff happens, just not in first world countries. The only happenings we've had since ww2 is 9/11, 2008 financial crash, covid and the ukraine-russian genocide.

The Gaza genocide is a big happening it's just that cuz first world countries aren't affected we don't consider it to be.

Hopefully there is a happening tho.

Do you know that this virus was called originally monkey pox, but the Africans protested claiming the name is racist?

Lol, the Africans asked for the virus to be renamed, you can see here an open letter from many African scientists with their request:

The likelihood of lockdowns due to monkeypox is even lower than for COVID-19. Here's why:
  1. Transmission: Monkeypox primarily spreads through close physical contact, including skin-to-skin contact and exposure to respiratory droplets over a prolonged period. It does not spread as easily or as widely as COVID-19, which reduces the need for widespread lockdowns.
  2. Containment: Monkeypox outbreaks have been relatively contained with targeted public health measures, such as isolation of cases, contact tracing, and vaccination for high-risk groups. These measures are typically sufficient to control the spread without resorting to lockdowns.
  3. Vaccine Availability: There is an existing vaccine for monkeypox, originally developed for smallpox, which is effective at preventing infection and can be used for outbreak control.
  4. Severity and Public Response: While monkeypox can cause serious symptoms, it is generally less deadly than COVID-19. The public health response has focused on education, vaccination, and targeted isolation rather than broad, society-wide restrictions.
  5. Public Perception and Policy: Governments and health authorities are unlikely to impose lockdowns for monkeypox because the perceived risk to the general population is lower, and the disease is more manageable with existing health measures.
In summary, lockdowns for monkeypox are highly unlikely, and the public health response is more likely to focus on targeted interventions and vaccination rather than widespread restrictions.
