16, like i said I’m gonna get my mse next week, but there’s a lot of evidence of adults getting results. However it’s going to be very hard to achieve cause you would have to wear it as much as you can

tbh I don't fully know the difference between MARPE/SARPE/MSE but what was your process like?

Sarpe or dame involves making lefort 1 cuts then following up with either a tooth-borne or bone-borne expander. The process of doing mse involves placing mini-screws (tads) with placement customized to each patient’s anatomy the mse which is ordered from a lab the clinic works with will be installed. If you’re comfortable sharing your face in the dms or on the post I can help determine if you really need expansion (for functional reasons) because if you just get expansion for aesthetics you’ll run into many problems

If your palate is bigger than your tongue there will be relapse, and you’ll likely have a crossbite because your maxilla will be wider than your mandible unless you follow up with surgery to widen your mandible eight tooth brone or bone brone
If you don’t face any problems with your palate implants would be cheaper and better for you

I meant the number of tads. As long as your bone isn’t fused, you’re fine with 4 tads. It’s cheaper and you won’t go wrong with it.
