If your tongue is scalloped, its a sign your palate is probably too narrow. It is interesting I found some comments in this video that a high vaulted palate is correlated with a deviated septum (a crooked nose).

if the theory is indeed true, it makes sense why a deviated septum is unpleasing to the eye. It would indicate underlying health issues that relate to having a high vaulted palate. And health == beauty
