I assume most ppl js gonna say mt2 but js hear me out and make me decide this maybe its obvious

MT1 VS MT2
very brief overview:

mt2 (melanotan 2)

  • stimulates melanocytes strongly, faster, deeper tan
  • increases freckles/moles more noticeably
  • more systemic effects (libido, nausea, flushing, etc.) - CROSSES blood brain barrier

mt1 (afamelanotide-like)
  • more selective melanocyte stimulation
  • slower, steadier tan development
  • far fewer systemic and pigment side effects

Im sure most ppl alr know that

why i’m sceptical of mt2
  • i’ve already been badly sunburnt a few times, which already raises baseline skin cancer risk
  • mt2 tends to activate existing moles and create new freckles, which makes monitoring skin harder
  • it feels better for to short and controlled use not something to run casually for months
if i go abroad somewhere very sunny, i could see bringing mt2 for very brief periods, but running it all summer feels questionable.

why mt1 is tempting
  • much lower rate of new moles and freckles
  • more consistent pigmentation without pushing melanocytes as hard
  • theoretically safer long-term profile because it’s less aggressive

i live in the uk, so real uv is limited to a couple of months so maybe i could just do a short period of mt2 when its peak or if i go abroad, but i want to be tanned yesterday.

i might just end up ordering both and bringing mt2 when i go to a hot country and using mt1 throghout summer in the uk. idk. ordering pretty soon.

Im swaying towards mt2 - seems like i should just get a good tan and cover my freckles and moles in uv++ and hope for the best. i mean afterall its gonna give me a better tan.

thoughts? dont just say mt2 fuck cancer and side effects lmao

You gotta weigh out the pros and the cons and decide what's best for you.

mt1 is overall better and safer but mt2 made my dick extremely hard to the point where it was uncomfortable and i tanned way fucking faster but the sides aren’t worth it mt1 tan is just fine not to orange uncanny looking it’s more of a natural tan

i mean im spanish but ive tried everything to get a slight tan naturally back in summer and there was no way, i get like the slightest of tans on my face after actively sunbathing but the moment september ends i go back to having this greyish zombie color jfl, i wanna paki maxx the moment spring begins, maybe i will switch to mt1 just when the summer ends

when summer ends mt2 would make more sense, requires less uv

i heard from a friend he got a decent tan with no sunlight on mt1
