It literally is all about repetition and practice. A big reason why I switched more to producing for creative expression.

All the people i know who are really good at guitar practice A FUCKING LOT, but after a certain skill level is reached where you can impro freely, you can get a lot of practice in.

Guitar is one of those instruments, when you get to a certain level it gets easy(ofc you can still make it hard). The opposite is with piano, where its easier to start out, but harder to master.

Just play a lot, play something that you enjoy listening to and enjoy playing. You will get good really fast and also don't forget music theory, at least the basics.

It's not finger strength but the strength of your wrist and arm to pull "through" the neck of the guitar. You can rest your index finger over the neck, and without even playing any chord shape, just press and hold your arm through the neck as an exercise.
