My brother went on a vacation by plane with his wife. On the way back she wanted to sit in the middle where another man was sitting. My brother didn't allow this to happen. He brought it up when they came to our house and she defended her actions, saying it's not a problem / big deal if she is seated next to another man. JFL this is what the mindset of a westernized Islamic woman looks like, akhis. I saw my brother get visibly upset when she said without shame that when she is in a bus or whatever, she sits next to another man. I feel bad for my brother for having such a shameless wife devoid of modesty. Just wearing an abaya with a hijab does NOT mean someone a conservative trad waifu. It's just a package to fool others into thinking she's a modest woman who doesn't want her private space to be invaded by another man. SMH.

And she probably still sit next to other men lmfao since she doesn't think it's problematic. But it is, according to islam. She refused to do a cultural thing that would have made my mom happy citing that it's not islamically required and that the wedding should be according to Islamic values. See how she's just cherrypicking? Before they moved in together she refused to come to our house because my parents didn't allow my brother to move to Amsterdam and said she should move to Rotterdam like they previously agreed upon. She started hating our parents and didn't do the thing that would have made my mom happy on purpose. She's been somewhat better since then, invited us to their house for dinner etc. She's disrespected our parents often but my parents say as long as she treats their son well they don't mind how they are treated.
