Only "advantage" I think I had that no one else could have is probably the general bone weakening and thus more malleability, from some chemotherapy cycles I had those years.
It is a damn slow process but it pays off after all.

i rotated it to fix his head tilt frauding. nothing changed. same gonial angle. just lost weight and lighting so jawline more defined. somehow grew a bit of a chin, no advancement

Head tilt different, lighting conditions different and possibly loss of bodyfat. Yeah sorry OP, nothing changed.

Look in the mirror while doing a chin tuck and then tilt your head so you're looking slightly upwards and observe how your jawline changes

Could be the bodyfat and him having his jaw retracted a bit in the first picture. Also lens distortion.

I had even lower body fat back then and there was no lens distortion in the before pic. I tilted my head a bit but I say the chin projection and gonial angle is obviously different.
Also here's a comparison with the same tilt in both pics.
