my acne disappeared on iodine

Ive had these shitty inflamatoory bumps for a long time (they dont look like acne just minor bumps) and im on retinoids and ahas and no progress. 3 days of iodine they started to become slightly more inflamed and on fourth day they are completely gone. iodine has also shown efficacy against acne scars for those interested

lugol's first three days there might be bromide detox and metabolism speed up can cause stored heavy metals to be flushed out, so first three days id recommend taking some antioxidant like vitamin c / magnesium glycinate and consuming lots of salt water (it may cause bloat but its necessary as iodine forms a transporter with sodium) . Fourth day onwards the detox is mostly over (although not for somepeople) and you can reduce doses of vitamin c and mag glycinate. Lugol;s 2 percent 1 drop in water (literally one drop not the dropper) it will look miniscule but its ver ypotent so first time Id throw out half the water and drink the rest (ud be getting around 600 mcg of iodine with this id recommend first time going even lower)
