Wanting to know everything that I end up knowing absolutely nothing
Ask me anything about any topic u can think of and I will be able to answer, however I always feel that I only scratch the surface.

I was reading espinoza’s work when I was 14, studied entry level physics, thermodynamics, know a shit ton about biology and religion. Very knowledgeable in economics and somehow I feel as if I know truly nothing.

It’s my biggest blessing and curse. My mind has the ability to pick up new interests so easily but it has a hard time sticking to these interests and going truly in depth.

I have a close relationship with a renowned psychologist from my city and he called me highly intelligent, but chaotic.

I didn’t and don’t know what to think of this

Some days I wake up ready to learn everything there is to learn, grind books and studies for hours on end with 0 breaks. And some days I end up rotting behind my screen.

It makes me feel so incredibly shitty
I don’t even care for human contact or anything of that matter, I just want to know everything and be everything.

Sometimes I’m repulsed by the fact I’m JUST human and not some outer-worldly creature

Back when I was 15 and high all the time I got REALLY into ethics and metaphysics. I’m still in the process of writing a autobiography sprinkled with a little ethical dilemmas in between. Probably the work I’m most proud of to this day.

It’s brutally honest with wild stories and lessons. if I say so myself

Philosophy and metaphysics is what still haunts me the most, other than that I’d say esotericism comes as a close 2nd and ofcourse biology, aswell as nutrition

Some reccs
Prometheus rising
the law by neville
Liber null & psychonaut by peter carroll

As for more philosophical work
Beyond good and evil by nietzsche is probably my favorite book oat
The enneads by plotinus is also cool since it incorporates some qabbalistic fun facts and connections

What specifically about esotericism? I like concepts which develop ones percieved agency.
For example No Longer Human (admittedly the manga version and not the orignal) was a beneficial book in showing how not to act, how to ruin your life. I think the notea from the underground is like that too, but havent read it.

The chaotic and free-spirited kind. More so, how one can bend something to it’s will and what this ‘will’ actually entails for me specifically but also others around me

Thus spoke zarathustra is such an incredible book, it was the first book I ever read. It did take me 3 times to fully comprehend what was being said tho :lul:

Do u like structured and traditional ‘art’ more? Or are u also mostly interested in chaos and just pure will

Fr it has so much beneficial rules of thumb and essentially life tips. The lightning striking the tree for instance, and even the path of the ubermensch seemingly seeking oblivion. The will is interesting though, especially since it seems to have no regard for the body (Like delueze and guattaris body without organs) and seeks to further it's knowledge by any means necessary, but for some it just manifests as the pursuit of power?

I've definitely freaked myself out with no sleep researching some of this stuff lol.

I'm not sure if I have the words for it, since I kinda learnt through osmosis as opposed to actual reading lol, and being in occult spaces opposed to reading occult books. I find the more outlandish (but not imbecilic) stuff interesting when it resonates, like Nick Lands theories of the will being like a sentient Ai or whatever.

But it needs to have some kind of value or benefit, idk get closer to truth. Some philosophers are just yapping about what other philosophers said, I do think you need to have your own worldview to be able to grow in that regard. And keep as close to foundational beliefs as possible to not waste time arguing or reading about abstracted information lol.

Kinda tired rn so hope this makes sense. The older books in general definitely mog the more newer ones. I wish I started reading the classics sooner, but at the same time it wouldn't be me technically anyway so idc.
