I'm trying to find my answer but can't find it anywhere...
my bite looks normal at first but It looks like I always force backward on my mandible for having a good bite. If I open my mouth wide and close it without forcing anything, my incisors touch. Is it normal? I got 4 premolars extracted younger and orthodontic for 4 years resulting in a recessed mandible and a really bad gonial angle..
My jaw is hurting me and crack every morning because I'm grinding while sleeping and I think it's because I always retract my jaw a few millimeters and force on it.
So guys, if you open wide your jaw and close it, do you have naturally a good occlusion, or is it normal to move the jaw backward?
I don't know if what I ask is clear enough, sorry for my English, I have an appointment with the dentist in a few days and since surgery is free in my country if you need it, I'll go for bimax ccw and hopefully ascend !
