Exactly about 1 year ago. Still had the tooth gap and hadn’t started aligners.
At that point I was already about high MTN - low HTN facially, but whenever I speak my obvious tooth gap would show.
Getting dates on dating app were not that difficult. I was averaging 1 different girl a month. But out of the many dates I went on with many girls, none of them made it past the 3rd date and it was always reasons such as
- straight out ghosted
- not ready for rs
- I am unsure about things
- things are moving too quickly bullshit
In real life half of these girls also weren’t showing much interest at all, for example not maintaining eye contact / body facing you when having a conversation with you.
I always wondered what the problem was since I always tried my best to be a gentlemen (bluepill max), such as footing the bill without asking her to pay, sending her home, good listener etc.
But then one day I matched with this girl. Things seemed pretty well before we met. She constantly liked my IG stories and even replied to them.
We then met up. She told me her aspirations were to be a dentist. But during the date choosing signals were not strong, contrary to what she gave me on IG. I tried to hold her hands but she did not seem willing to reciprocate and reluctantly held hands with me.
After the date, she messaged me, telling me that I was a nice guy. I then asked her what was wrong. She mentioned something about my teeth and that straight teeth were something she desires since she wanted to be a dentist.
From that moment I was truly blackpilled. I knew she was just trying to be nice instead of straight up telling me my tooth gap was a major turn off and was ugly. From then on I realised it was also due to this tooth gap I probably turned off many other previous girls as well after meeting them irl, because most of them exhibited the same pattern of being enthusiastic online before meeting up and then having that enthusiasm die off after meeting irl.
