Absolute lifefuel. 2 weeks post op. will send pics in a couple weeks once 90% of swelling is gone, 70% rn

Yes this is a cope surgery for most men but i was distinctly lacking midface volume relative to my big jaw so this ascended me 1 PSL alone.

literally transformed my frontal view which was the most lacking.

don't have super striking cheekbones but i went from literally boneless in that area to average or slightly above (think brad pitt cheekbones) which i'm thrilled about.

already getting way better treatment from women and even men. More IOI's sure but more respect and better treatment in general too.

And i still have a couple procedures left next year (endoscopic midface lift which i should have done together with the implants and canthoplasty)

Looks are just as important as you think, don't let any delulu normie tell u otherwise.

Glad it helped you bro. Thankfully I don't have to mask anymore, therapy for a year with a psychologist + SSRIs helped cure my social anxiety 2 years ago.

Since then I've been getting more confident in myself and have a social life I could only dream of a few years ago. And I'm actually from Ireland too (living abroad). As you know being NT is everything there (or atleast masking), even tho theres a lot of NDs there too.

i dont have to mask anymore (halo effect). yes being neurotypical is everything here. i was scrutinised much in my younger years when undiagnosed. before every disco i went to i puked from anxiety before every one when i would arrive i'd have to mask for 3 hours acting like i have any interest in dancing so i could slay. i got alot depsite only being mtn at the time. and i realised the importance if essentially acting and in discoes you didnt talk to the girls only get with them so i realised my actions and what i said was usually why i wasnt fw.

good times. this country is miserable though, im living well but to see others under foot like i was the constant taking the piss often for reasons not their fault (size or neurodivergence), feeds into apathy and misanthrophy. i am so done with this place i cant wait to move shit feels mad fake but not like imposter syndrome because i do feel i deserve and am i owed where im at

I understand how you feel.

Glad to hear things are going better for you now.

I will say that the tone of your second paragraph reminds me of myself a couple years ago when I had longterm functional depression but didn't realise it (fairly common in Ireland due to very low levels of emotional intelligence).

My mother and father are anxious people, my father is also distant and suffers from a relatively low mood but he's also functional. Parents can't help but teach their children their emotional shortcomings, consciously and unconsciously.

I'm not saying feeling something is wrong when you see others mistreated, that's healthy and shows empathy. But apathy can be a sign that your emotional tank is overflowing and your mind is shutting down to cope.

Ireland for its faults is actually a pretty good country despite the housing situation. Nothing wrong with living abroad (25 degs where I am today lol) but just make sure you aren't leaving to escape your pain cause it will follow you. Try to imagine yourself as happy as the happiest person you know and ask yourself if you'd still want to leave if you felt like that regularly, that should give you some clarity.

I understand and its not wrong to feel that but if the anger and unjust feelings are the emotional strong points of the night rather than having fun or enjoying being good looking then that might signal an issue, looking back for me it was certainly a symptom.

Healthy emotional regulation is basically you feel a feeling in response to a stimuli but that feeling isn't any more intense than any other feeling (unless the stimulus is a lot stronger).

It might not apply to you but just thought I'd mention it.

Not advising you to hop on SSRIs but they massively helped me by turning down the volume of negative feelings and allowing me to experience a lot more joy more easily. Went from being a cynic to a carefree normie over the space of a year.

I also didn't get much joy from non escapist activities back then
