Over the last 3 years or so I've been building a moderately sized English-styled cottage in Berlin. It is located near a mainstream water source, the food source is also superfluous. There are large Trout, Smallmouth Bass, and Salmon in the larger parts of the rivers. The water source is impeccable. I truly have never experienced a better tasting water.
I graduated from high school in 2021, with this aspiration in mind. My parents are rather wealthy, so I have never required personal funds. I started the project late 2021, and have been making gradual progress since.
Originally, the cottage was meant to be a simple, longterm living solution for me. As time went on, I came to realize that I envision a future with a wife, and multiple children. It was at this point that I realized I would need additional support. Originally, I had been building independently. Mid 2022 was when I decided to hire 2 architects, along with 6 construction workers. The interior & exterior were quickly remodeled to appeal to 2-3 children & 2 adults.
I have been working with architects since then to plan out the final product. There is lots of math & physics involved in a project of this size, but I am still determined for its finish.
The location of the cottage is in a quite desolate, dense forest area. Many birds flock over the rivers during the milder seasons. The location could be a potential issue eventually, considering it is so far away from civilization. The walk is around 1.2 miles from Eastern Berlin. If need be, I would consider paving a pathway to the city. I have had to buy the property that my cottage resides on, so I would probably have to work with Berlin to plan out a potential solution to the location issue.
I also envision a farm eventually, perhaps 6-8 sheep and some cattle. I would like as little reliance on outside sources as possible. My wife will homeschool our children, as the schooling system has turned to trash over the last decade.
I would love to provide the forum with pictures of the cottage so far, but for obvious reasons, I will not do so as of now. I may or may not eventually post photos of the base of the cottage. It is fully grey & white cobblestone.

The base as of now looks very similar to this.

This is more or less what the interior should eventually look like. Looks similar to the blueprints.

This is the roof style I selected with the architects. It will be closer to cobblestone slabs.
The cottage is expected to be completed mid-late 2026. So far, I have spent around 333,000 Euros (350,000 USD). The project is expected to cost me (or my parents) around 620,000 Euros, excluding any additional infrastructure I may eventually plan out.

Yes, inflation in Germany has skyrocketed over the last 15 years. This probably applies to everywhere else too, though.

Anyways nice plan. Surprises me that you started it at 18. If only I had the resources then.

Yes, I am very grateful for my parents. They've funded the entirety of the cottage. I had been wanting to build one since the beginning of high school.

May I ask what are you studying/working at? Out of curiosity.

Sure. I did not attend additional schooling after high school, though my parents encouraged me to attend a prestigious German university. I would have studied architecture for obvious reasons, but this never happened.
As of now I am working part-time for a furniture refurbishing business. It is family owned and rather enjoyable. I also make money from hunting, and selling the hides of various animals.

Nigga r u rich
My father sold millions of dollars worth of real estate in the 80's. I am not personally a wealthy person, but my parents fund everything I do, so some people would consider me to be "rich"
My father alone is probably worth 6-8 million USD. I haven't bothered to ask him about his finances, though.

Nice cottage.
All you need now is a hqnp germanic Stacy to do some Aryan lovemaking with and fill this cottage with a lot of Aryan chadlets.

Will start looking for a wife within the next six months. Just don't know where to even start, as German women have become so promiscuous.

I don't want to approach that shithole called Berlin.

He could have bought way nicer land for way cheaper

The land itself wasn't very expensive.
You are right, however, that Berlin itself is not an amazing place. The mountains and water outside of it are very enjoyable, though.

I would have recommended Saxony. They will rise up in the coming years, many investments in the area are being currently done

I considered Saxony in the beginning, actually. Very beautiful state. I chose Berlin ultimately, as more of my personal endeavors are close by.
