I don't know if your parents are boomers or not, but many of them have this idea that men should have short hair like all the other boring normies around. Parents should care about proving their kids, giving them the best life possible, teaching them to stand up for themselves and to properly socialize, not interfering with your hair cut.

Funny that many of them grew up in the counterculture period where you had long haired men fighting back against the norm, but when they get old, they become boring reactionary types that think men should live to serve women and that everything is gay if it's not some outdated and copist view of masculinity.
