My daily life

I wake up around 7:00 i take a shower brush teeth eat breakfast i head to school around 8:00 arrive 8:20 i just sit with my 3 friends we play games on the phone together until class starts it is 8:45 and class has started so i sit at my seat now i sit next to 2 girls right its 2 desks where 2 people can use it so there's 3 girls that I sit next to i engage in conversations with them i actually enjoy sitting next to the girl to my right only because we have been friends for 2 years i still got social anxiety but i try work on it i always try not to spark up any conversations with random people i dont know or dont associate with i am quite intelligent top of the class so people try ask for tips and i try not to just because i dont know what to say teachers try tell me to help other but they just dont understand i hate that i have social anxiety it just ruins the thought of youth and socializing even though i see everyone engaging in it having fun i do what i am told in school to avoid getting called out by the teacher once i get of school i just play games do homework or be on call with my 4 friends that i enjoy i am not anxious online which i am grateful for or i would be dead already i dont even know why i made this long ass thread that is useless but this is pretty much my life

it’s not useless at all, it just feels that way because you’re comparing yourself to people who are louder or more social

you’ve got a routine, a few real friends you actually like being around, you’re doing well in school, and you’re still trying even with social anxiety. that already puts you in a better spot than a lot of people

the anxiety just makes normal things feel harder than they should be, so it makes sense you avoid random conversations. but you can talk when you feel comfortable, like with the girl you’ve known for 2 years, so it’s not like you can’t do it at all. it just takes time and the right situations

with helping people in class, you don’t need to overthink it. you can keep it simple like “i just studied a bit more” or “i can show you later”. you don’t have to suddenly be outgoing

and about feeling like you’re missing out, a lot of people who seem social are not as confident as they look. you’re not behind, you’re just moving at your own pace

your life sounds calm and steady, not pointless. you just need small steps, not a complete change
