my dark circles are very bad

8 months ago I started applying minoxidil and started noticing that I got dark circles and eye bags. are they very bad?

I think it's not lighting, I look in the mirror and I think I'm worse than in this picture. I always look very tired and older but I think it's not just minoxidil I don't sleep well for over 2 years, I have a lot of insomnia. Do any of you know a good sleeping pills?
