My dermatologist said that creatine and whey protein will interfere with accutane. Is that true?

At first it seemed really ludicrous to me. But then, after some thought, I decided that maybe it was true. There are studies that prove whey protein (from milk) aggravates acne. And about creatine, there are studies that prove that during its intake DHT increases by 40 per cent, which seriously affects the sebaceous glands.

Of course I would like to take creatine for DHT, as I am 17 years old and DHT is still good for me. But on the other hand, if I increase sebum production with DHT and at the same time suppress sebum with isotretinoin, one will suppress the other and there will be no cure and no reduction of the size of sebaceous glands. Everything will just stay at a normal level. And I would really like the accutane results to be really long lasting and not temporary even when I will stop it.

What do you guys think? Should I take creatine and whey protein with accutane?

What's that got to do with it? Can you read?
just drink lots of water and use a diuretic, youll be fine. it's only a big deal if you overdo the creatine and whey

what for diuretic is? not to be bloated? to tell you the truth now I don't care about bloating. but thank you for answer

It's generally not advised to take accutane and Creatine at the same time because of side effects concerning the liver.

creatine doesn't effect liver. it only can be helpful for it because it can lower cholesterol and triglycerides

yeah bro. you should believe nobody despite you, even if it is some kind of "professional". always analyze other points of view but make your OWN decisions

It doesnt really matter your liver wont be compromised from creatine, and whey protein wont have a big effect on your acne. If you want to you can just continue supplementing them or just eat a piece of meat instead.
