Just to clarify, my meth usage was not influenced in any way by clavicular.
The context behind this is a long story but ill explain it shortly. To sum it up, ive had a hyperfixation on this guy who used all sorts of rec substances and wrote about his experiences in a journal (dont remember the guys name now but wtv.) As a result of this weird interest I ended up using all sorts of substances from id say 15-17.
Stimulants were always my favorite, even as a younger kid I was consistently drinking energy drinks. Things like adderall were easy to get so I would use them here and there for fun or to get shit done.
Fast forward to the end of november/early-december of last year. My buddy had shared with me that he was using "desoxyn" as clav said so naturally I was interested. Ended up placing an order while fried for 7 grams of pure crystal, d-isomer methamphetamine.. (To put that in perspective, desoxyn, a prescribed adhd medication which contains d-isomer meth usually contains about 5-10mg, if I used say 10mg daily it would last me almost 2 years).
Anyways, when I bought it I told myself "only 5-15mg every other day to help with productivity".
You can probably guess where this is going, I ended up trying 15mg on a sunday night expecting an instant "coke-like" high. When it didnt hit as I had expected, I asked my friend if it was normal, to which he then replied "Do another 50mg, you'll feel like a god". I ended up snorting 70mg of it that night, instantly setting my dopamine receptors and tolerance way higher than I shouldve.
This is where the spiral beings. You see, methamphetamine is ranked #2 in the USA's list of most destructive substances. Even while I was using pure product (not some street laced bullshit) the sheer strength of it was incredibly noticeable. After that first night, I didnt sleep, and monday morning we have school, so I did another 20mg that morning to get through the day. For the next 3-4 weeks I slowly went from 5-20mg every other day or maybe a couple days in a row, to 30-60mg almost every day. To put this into perspective, 60mg of d isomer methamphetamine is equivalent to almost 200mg of adderall to some people.
I quit on new years eve, cold turkey alongside nicotine and THC. By the end of it, I had pretty significantly damaged my immune system (recoverable but still), I also had done a bit of damage to my liver from the chronically elevated cortisol and oxidative stress. I had also gone from about 130lbs to 111lbs as the apetite suppression was incredibly intense. Never really experienced any mood, dopamine, or motivation issues after quitting but Im sure im either an exception or my usage wasnt too severe or for too long.
All in all, yes, it did give me hollow cheeks, though that was not the reasoning behind my usage. (I desperately needed a bulk, not a starvemaxx). And to be honest, I actually do miss it, in all my time with substances ive neverhad as much of an affinity to a drug as meth. It was really fun, I felt like a god at all times, but my body, mind, and health were all suffering.
This post was kinda sloppy so ill just say my conclusion.
Meth IS one of the scariest, and most dangerous drugs I have ever used. Not because it can instantly kill you, but because of its long term impact on brain health. With stimulants in the amphetamine and methamphetamine class, your brain is releasing ungodly amounts of dopamine which your brain is not able to properly recieve. The sheer amount of dopamine released on your brain is incredibly toxic to your brains natural rhythms, people become unable to feel motivated or fulfilled without the substance. Even now i reminisce about it as I write this, a clear indication of its power over a month post use.
After my experience with meth I want absolutely nothing to do with chronic stimulant usage whatsoever and im glad i stopped before any real problems occured.
And no, this post is not larp or troll. Please dont be an idiot following randoms advice online or being influenced by degens, substance usage isnt something im inherently against, but the most important thing is mental stability, health, and optimal funciton. NEVER sacrifice these things.
