My eyes look close together even though the measurements are normal?

I measured my eyes and they are each about 3 cm wide, and the space between them is around 3.5 cm. So technically that’s normal, but I still feel like they look close-set.

Could other factors be making this worse? I have a little scar on the middle of the bridge of my nose, and some temple hollowing that I feel might be changing the perception of width.

Or is there any other reason that can explain why I feel like they sometimes look a bit close-set.
