My favorite tech youtuber turned out to be a JBWmaxxer

Between 2018 and 2021, I was really into tech videos and followed many tech YouTubers. One of my favorites was Austin Evans—his content felt genuine, fun, and engaging. Unlike other creators who just read off spec sheets, his videos were entertaining and had a unique touch. I liked his incel background as a 5'6" former bullying victim and liked supporting YouTubers with that kind of underdog narrative or bullying background. However, I was completely blindsided when in 2021 he suddenly revealed he had secretly got married and already had two kids on twitter. It upset a lot of his fans including me. It was the ultimate betrayal. How can he hide something so big from his fans for so long. I haven’t watched his videos since then. He randomly showed up on my feed today and it reminded me of how I was such a loyal subscriber to his channel.
