Autism is both underrated and overrated at the same time. But WAY more overrated. A lot of autistic traits are just up to interpretation to the NT which leads to way less predictable social interactions which can absolutely fuck the psyche. Especially if there are other factors leading to worse social skills. Unless you figure out how to play the game of life without the manual that being NT provides you. You're doomed to essentially gambling for friends.
