I played around on POF with the location set to my hometown in America when I was in China. I used a fake photo and made a fake bio. Girls seemed more serious about relationships on there, I don't know cause I've never used tinder, but a lot of them seemed way too concerned about job status. Asking "what's your job?", right off the bat. I'd usually troll them saying I worked at McDonald's, or that I was a massage therapist asking if they wanted a full body massage.

While this could be partially true and their initial intent, the fact is that most of them hook up with countless men from those dating apps, things they would never disclose to random guys in their friend group, due to the negative stigma attached to being a promiscuous woman.
