I got into an argument at the weekend with some friends because I recently became Christian again in my adult life.
One of them got really angry at me because in the bible homosex is a sin but I told him that it's a sin just like being prideful is a sin. It is all equally bad because this world is a fallen place. He just didn't understand what I was saying and got so mad. He started throwing shit around and smashing up his bedroom and stuff.
Other people jumped in and said they are having 'an intervention' about my reconversion to Christianity and that I should 'stop it because it's getting out of hand'
Like what the fuck? How the fuck am I supposed to give up my religious views when I still believe in them? It's not as if I talk about it all the time, they ask me questions about it and then get mad when I give them an answer. I had one guy try to convince me that I was God and all that new age horseshit.
So now they aren't talking to me. I'm jobless, friendless, single and can't move out. Just great.
