So you wonder who is that guy with helmet in my avi? Its Ayrton Senna!!
Birth of a legend
Ayrton Senna da Silva - was born 21st march 1960 in Sao Paulo Brazil. Senna developed interest in motorracing at age of 4. At the age of seven, Senna first learned to drive a Jeep around his family's farm and also how to change gears without using a clutch. Senna started racing in karting at age of 13. Senna's first kart was built by his father using a small 1hp lawnmower engine.
Senna went on to win the South American Kart Championship in 1977. He fnished runner up at Karting World Championship in 1979 and 1980 . In 1978, he was the teammate of Terry Fullerton, from whom Senna later felt was the rival he got the most satisfaction racing against also because of the lack of money and politics at that level.
After that Ayrton moved to single seaters. In 1981 he won formula ford 1600,at 1982 he won formula ford 2000 and at 1983 he won British formula three and macau grand prix
The Jurney begun
At 1984 Ayrton Senna da Silve debuted in formula 1 with Tollman group motorsport. He did very well in his first few races but in monaco gp, he made insane permormance. In weak tollman car he mover from 13th to 2nd in toughest monaco circut. Rain was insane during that race and Senna shown that hes the master of the rain. He almost past 1st Alain Prost, but race was stopped.
The legend
From 1984 to 1994 Senna raced for Tollman, lotus, mclaren (winning 3 championship) and wiliams in 1994. His dirving skills were on another level. His car was bouncing on the limits of the grips, sliding all the time but senna was able to mange it on track somehow. He was fasstest qualifying driver of all time scoring 41 wins, 80 podiums and 65 pole positions. He was master of the wet and his insane combacks made him the greatest of time!!
Off the track senna was charimatic man, loved by whole world, he helped poor people in brazil. His mind was very strong, his quotes are legendary for example: ''If you no longer go for a gap that exist you're no longer a racing driver" or ''I am not designed to finish 2nd or 3rd I AM designed to win''
Death of the legend
Sadly in 1994 Gp San Marino Senna died in tragin accident. In this season his car was trash but he was still able to get 3 pole positions!!!!
