When I have unlimited Internet access I spent most of my time LDARing on the Internet
With this system I created I was able to go weeks without the Internet and these were very good, inspiring times.

It's scheduled in multiple phases:

Phase 1 (1-3 days) -> Internet allowed, collect films, music, videos, work material, books etc to use offline

Phase 2 (1 week) -> Internet turned off, dopamine fueled shit like films, music, books allowed (porn obviously disallowed)

Phase 3 (1 week) -> Internet turned off, dopamine fueled shit disallowed and not consuming the content and material of other people but just my own thoughts and work, this is the phase were the most inspiration hits and I feel the happiest

And then repeat with Phase 1.

The only way to succesfully abstain from the Internet for me was not having access to it.
I let my brother change the WIFI password and not tell me it, only entering it on my devices when I'm at Phase 1 of the plan.

If you have questions, go ahead and ask.

Cope. For full dopa detox you need 1 year and a half of no dopamine at all(all things that you like)

It's not a full one time detox, it's destined to be sustainable in long term

Ok, so what is dopamine detoxing actually supposed to do if you're going to build it up again anyway?

How long have you doing this shit for?

What do you do instead of browsing the internet - say on holidays - don't talk to any of your friends + watch nothing - how do you manage that esp. if you are trapped at home

The main thing for me is reducing Internet time which is wastefully spent and having time without distractions to do work, watch based films, read books, research stuff etc and having time to just turn out all outside noises and get inspiration from being uninfluenced by thoughts outside of my own

I'm quite comfortable in solitude but I don't think it's a problem if you meet up and socialize with friends or family in any of the phases, might depend on the person but it's not hard for me to manage not meeting people
