My midface is too short and I don’t know what to do

I have measured my midface ratio multiple times and it’s not 100% accurate but it ranges from 1.15 to 1.3 depending on the picture. I have always received comments about how I look too young but I’m 22 rn and it kills me everytime I hear it. Being neotonous looking is devastating for dating and hookups.it also doesn’t help that my jaw is very rounded and lips are short. I’m so insecure I don’t go out anymore to Uni coz I look so out of place and just study home. I can dm face pics if u want to analyse and I’m curry. Is there any surgery that can lengthen the midface and make my face more masculine?

Get jaw filler or chin filler to lengthen the face

But I heard it doesn’t affect the outside soft tissue and also my maxilla is pretty forward grown and doesn’t have recession

not really true, midface length increases from a LF1 downgraft are minimal at best and most of the added vertical length just goes below your lips

you need either a LF2 or modified LF3 with custom anchorage to guide the soft tissues and structures of the nose to stretch with the osteotomy

Meaning, Half of your face will vertically get longer, which in most cases is what people with "short face syndrome need"

I have good bite and no recession. Just a weak jaw that’s not that projected outwards including chin. No surgeon is gonna go lf2 or 3 on a non deformed person anyways lol. The vertical lengthening from the lf1 from the outside u mention is mostly chin height apparently. There might be improvements in the midface if ur maxilla is already recessed but mine is normal. This is what I heard online . It seems u can’t change soft tissue on the midface

if you dont, a single LF2 cut downgrafted would suffice

The vertical lengthening from the lf1 from the outside u mention is mostly chin height apparently. There might be improvements in the midface if ur maxilla is already recessed but mine is normal. This is what I heard online . It seems u can’t change soft tissue on the midface
