i was at the ortho and the guy was giving me a full side profile analysis,
he kept saying shit like “yea so the ideal is 80° and you’re at 75°, so it’s still in the average”.
he did that with about 13 measures, then let me go.
when i got in the car, my mom had a huge crashout because i said i was in the “lower average”.
i told her how my measurements were all under average but still enough to consider me in the average range,
she was crying about how “there is no ideal chin projection” and that “it’s just millimeters”...
so i told her that the “average” is just because every single normie is recessed,
to which she said “and what? the human body adapts over time, average is the new ideal and it changes every day!!”
