first of all let me give u background she doesnt pay attention to what i say, for example i say something she just automatically says "yes, ..." even if "yes" is not what she meant. she says it as a filler word so that she doesnt have to understand anything for real. she does this to me and everyone else all the time.

i said i dont feel like im learning anything from my college classes since im not doing anything with it

she said "ur learning how to do things ur not interested in"

so she makes a contradiction by saying that i am doing things when i just said im not doing anything, and she completely missed the point. whether im interested or not was not my point; i can learn regardless of interest, and i am actually interested in some of my courses.

i tell her this and she doesnt understand, i try to explain that simply reading and taking quizzes isnt learning it can complement learning. learning means doing something for real. i cant feel like im learning anything if my life is just sitting in my room taking online courses.
