My nearsightedness worsened

I thought it wouldn't change anymore (at least not negatively) but the last test showed a difference by almost 2 dioptres. I'm 23 btw. And I'm already VERY nearsighted, thanks to my dad who can barely see. This goes to all the "you have great genes/mentalcel/Chad" copers here. I'm genetic garbage in every way possible.

Do you spend your time in the dark or low-light environments? That's what made my vision worse but as soon as I started rotting with the lights on, the decline in vision stopped.
