She's 38. She got married at 18 to a FOB back home. She was saying her kids won't end up like me (29), my brother (33) and sister (32). All of us are unmarried and single.

She said she's gonna make sure her sons / daughters (aged 10, 12 and 15) are married as early as possible just like her. Bless her innocent soul.

She is no doubt. She's not feminist or liberal. But she's gonna be in for a rude awakening when she finds out her sons/daughters don't think the same way as they did. Just FYI my sister's a late 80s child and grew up without all this internet bullshit. She had arranged marriage because realistically she had zero other options. My mum didn't even let her go uni JFL.
