My overall mood is directly tied to how good looking I feel

A few days ago I had to take a picture for a face rating.
Due to unfortunate circumstances I wasn't able to take a good one for a few tries.
Ever since then one of the bad pictures is burnt in my head and I get reminded that I look ugly (sometimes) and my mood immediately is in the gutters. This happens so frequently that i'm basically sad 24/7.
The same thing can happen in the complete opposite way.
