i also have a wide jaw even tough my palate is below average, but it still definitely affects my face shape. I have mild recession on both width and forward growth, basically my maxilla is holding me back

my jaw is almost too wide for my face and abnormally forward grown, mental protuberance almost extends to the tip of my nose.

but despite the palate being narrow, it also extends almost to the gonions.

I do have extremely prominent hollows when lean, already had them when I was a kid.

also I never had my own palate tested but my dad recently got dentures and the doctor told him he's never had to make them that small, and I inherited his palate size, it's not from a developmental issue it seems the men in my family just got narrow long palates.

lips are relatively narrow though but my nose isn't wide so you can't tell.
