I didn’t even want to apply to them in the first place but they kept fucking bothering me about it

I told them I’m not going to get in and they were like “you are just being negative bro!”

I got rejected from all of them as expected

My parents think I must have fucked up

Not once did it cross their mind that I’m simply not good enough

I guess it wouldn't hurt to be 1500+ but you need a lot to go right to get into an ivy tier school

unless you want to get into a really competitive field I'd just go to whatever good state uni is in your location, you could prob get into those fairly easily

I wanna do physics and finance eventually I wanna make my way into a hedge fund

yeah then that requires grinding. Maximize what you can in a year I guess. But idk, applying again after a gap year may be different/difficult

you need to be a top grad from a top uni to become a quant. Or to just grind a fuck ton of interviews + T10 STEM college.
IB also where you go is very important if you don't have connections but more realistic. If you don't get into a top college aim to transfer ASAP. I'm assuming you mean like elite wall street job here and not just some irrelevant one

If you live in a state like CA, and don't get into any top unis, you would probably need to go to a CC and transfer to Berkeley, I guess. Some colleges have transfer programs with ivies so you can check those.

That was easy and I cheesed through it when I took SAT. For writng I just went wtih my gut feeling, like I'd read the sentence in my head and go with what sounded the best. Reading the best time cheating strategy was I'd read the questions first and only go back and read the paragraphs referenced. Didn't really study so idek what advice to give besides that.
