I have braces in preparation for bimax

I asked my dad, while he was getting ready to go out with my mom to run errands, if he was scared of me getting the surgery

He said "How can I sleep well knowing they're gonna cut my boy's face up?

I feel like crap, we already had a big discussion months before but I can tell they're still scared and worried just as much as the day I told them how I felt

I don't want them to feel bad and suffer but I really am in pain because of my looks

I don't know what to do

Can we see your TAC scans and Bimax cut plans ?

How much are you paying for it? Are you also including genioplasty? (making it a Trimax in the process)

Also, don't feel bad with yourself, the world is not fair, at least you have the opportunity for improvement. Fuck what your parents thinks, they only know what they know.

That must be rough. It’s a good problem to have though, most users will never be able to get bimax. It will pass though.

This too.

Bimax is ~10 - 15 k euros in poorer European countries (forget America, its an overpriced corporativist shithole). With enough work one can get it, but oh boy will it delay buying a house or getting the finances to a secure level.

I'll try to scan them and maybe PM them to you, however I'm not keen on posting anything of myself, I'll try to see what I can do
Bimax cut plans
I'm still in orthodontic treatment in prep for bimax, no plans yet however I've heard my surgeon and my ortho talking about CCW rotation
How much are you paying for it?
100% free

I asked my surgeon and he said "You don't need that" however I'll push for it because I DO need it for aesthetic reasons
He said I don't need it because the result will be "correct" medically, however I want him to understand what I want
Also, don't feel bad with yourself, the world is not fair, at least you have the opportunity for improvement
Even though I would need multiple more surgeries to ascend, I'm still grateful to be able to do this, at least it's something.
Fuck what your parents thinks, they only know what they know.
I love my parents and I understand why they feel that way, they're also right. However, my objective is to ascend because I suffer everyday and want to live a happy life.

Yeah no worries about the scans, just a curiosity because we can actually tell surprisingly little about someone's face just from seeing their bones. It does provide a general overview of how one's face should look like, but its way off from my experience.

Your surgeon deserves all the recognition to be honest. I also did orthodontic treatment more then a decade ago in my early teens and I now (since I'm more informed about it) found to be a disconnect between dentists and surgeons; yes the dental arch is the right shape and width and the teeth are aligned, but the rest of the face had to sort of compensate for that, which might compromise maxillary growth in one way or another.

In light of this, what type of orthodontic treatment are you doing? I ask this because I've also had consultations for Bimax a few years ago and my doctor gave a letter to deliver to a dentist that works with them, but I've never touched that again since I actually did genioplasty, got poor in doing so and had other priorities in my life.

In regards to getting multiple surgeries I think we should apply the Pareto Principle here, 80% of results come from 20% of surgeries.
Excuse my pseudo intellectualism in this part xD but we need to think about it this way, the body as limited capacity to heal from trauma and so the less the better.

Also Bimax will just give you a good facial base and that gets picked on subconsciously by females because having the upper and lower maxilla in good proportion (especially the upper maxilla) to each other already makes someone attractive, even tough other facial elements aren't on the same level. Bimax can't also compensate for angularity of soft tissues, which is a factor that is quiet overlooked here due and hardly discussed because its not easy to quantify, but it does make a tangible difference.

Still in discussion to the Bimax surgery, someone posted a very good thread about it (still to find it). They were saying that to get chad-like results one needs to get advancements out of the ordinary because chadlites and chads have out of the ordinary growth. Most surgeons only due common advancements to bring the patient to normie tier when in fact the surgery should be planned to aim at least to chadlite territory or at least advancements that mimic that look, given the physical limitation of the bone on the region. >> take a look at famous pretty boys, they all still have enormous amounts of growth, whether it be maxilla, chin, zygos. I think you get the point :)

You will most likely ascend, do not overlook the transformative aspect of orthognathic surgery. The photos you see online rarely represent the difference IRL. After mine, some people could barely recognize me and I only did the tip of the jaw.

Your parents will understand the situation if they care for you, people are easy to forget past stuff, just reassure them you are being accompanied by professionals and that its common procedure nowadays.

Don't know if I'm giving this lecturer all knowing vibe, obvs not my goal; just think its important to share somethings that might get overlooked.

Of course, however you can understand that due to the nature of this forum and of the gentlemen here, privacy is of utmost importance

My orthodontist works directly with my surgeon and has made me understand that she's aware of my situation and that the only solution is surgery. My surgeon tries to look at it from a "pragmatic" point of view, not trying to do anything drastic. I'll talk to him better when I'll see him for the actual plans. I'll surely have the support of my ortho due to the fact that she understands what I'd like.

Braces, with possible elastics to fix overbite and slight crossbite. She does not want to remove any teeth, only my wisdom teeth if they cause problems. Never had any teeth removed all my life, the only orthodontic treatment I got was an expander and that's it.

I sure hope so.

Yeah, I'm trying but it's gonna take time.

Sorry for the delay bro.

Thanks for the response relative top the orthodontic treatment.

Surgeons will obviously fall into the conservative side of things, they don't want to risk too much and we also have the physical distance limit of the bone. Anyways, you have to show them you know what you want, they may be knowledgeable but they will obv hear your input given its doable.

Everything will be fine, you got this.

I just hope I'll be somewhat happy after bimax

your parents should have been worried long time ago while they had sex without protection, so it's their fault at the end. I personally don't talk to anyone IRL about my surgery/looksmaxxing plans except my weed plug.

Do not talk about your future plans with normies not even family members to avoid unnecessary discussions or opinions that have no worth.
