So I have a student checking account which my parents have access to and there is 4K in there that belongs to me but I can’t spend it because my parents track all my activity.

(So I can’t roidmaxx with that money or even go out to the bar and buy a couple of drinks because they’ll see and bitch about it)

I recently made a private account without telling them and I want to transfer my 4K into it without them knowing. Or well I want it to look reasonable like an investment or something.

Any ideas or tips? If someone smart genuinely helps me along this process, I’ll give them 50 bucks because this is very stressful for me with extremely strict parents.

I’m 19 btw.

Yeah that’s the annoying part. I was thinking maybe I can convince them to let me invest in stocks and once I do that, there may be a way to go from there.

Might just need to man up and take it

I feel like shit regardless what is the worst they’ll do even if they get really pissed about it.

At the end of the day the money is mine. I earned it.

legit no possible way of doing it without them finding out. if you move the money or spend it, theyll know.

ur boned buddy boyo, only solution is to talk it out with them to help get you off the leash they put you on

dnt even bother
Eh, I think simply being upfront with them and taking it is my only option. Technically the bank account with the money is under my name, they just have access to it, I’ll get there names removed and go from there.

Brown parents are truly a curse.

Well I wouldn’t say in general, pretty every brown person I know has super chill parents but I seem to be the fucking exception. No wonder I’m an incel.

they probably want you to use it for emergency's

I don’t live with my parents, they just have access to my money and are super controlling and narcissistic.
ask politely; if not granted, demand at knife point.

No, my parents expect me to graduate and give them half of what I’m earning jfl

Once I do graduate and get a proper full time job, I’m blocking their numbers.

i see what you're saying 100%.

i was also repressed from doing a bunch of stuff that i wanted to in high school. my mom up and asked me to share locations with her like a few days ago but at some point you gotta man up. i didn't be disrespectful about it, i just told her logically why would she want it now? i gave her reasons why it would just be better to not give it and let me have my own privacy. and i guess i won that argument.

i guess some parents aren't like that tho. some really wanna control and incel-ify their kids to the max. no wonder brown foids are fucking whores and most brown dudes are incels. outside their looks of course.

Yeah I am just way too high inhibition to argue with my parents. I have always been the good kid that follows orders, never rebelled, never asked for gifts, never asked for toys. I need to change but it’s hard but tbh, my life isn’t ideal either ways so what’s the worst that can really happen, I’m willing to test my odds and go for it.

My dad was insistent on me sharing my location once university first started but I argued against that somehow back then too.

Usually I feel like it’s the mom that always worries and tries to shield the kid, but in my case it’s both. My dad is equally as bad as my mom and I fucking hate it.

wtf entitled asf.

i feel sorry for you bro.
Yeah, they expect me to pay off their mortgage and retire my mother.

I’m fine with doing both things btw but the fact that this is something demanded of me annoys the fuck out of me because this should be something your kid does out of the goodness of their heart.

I’m in no way giving them 50% nor am I living with them, I’ll help pay the mortgage but that’s about it.

I have white parents who were the same. As I got my first paycheck I told them I'm making a new account and I'm moving all there.

Yeah I have a job that I didn’t tell them about for which I put the money in my new bank account. I just want my 4K on that account too because that’s quite a lot of money.

that fucking sucks so much.

im like the opposite of you. i was an ordinary kid till about 9th grade, thats when the perception my parents had of me completely shifted. my grades slipped, they caught me with a knife, caught me smoking weed (in my own home jfl im so fucking retarded)

so as of this point they've given up and expected that some day I may slip up again like get caught doing a cardinal paki sin like drink (which btw i have never drank nor do i plan on it) but in their minds its what i feel like they're expecting.

Btw yeah in my case my mom is the super strict one. my dad is usually laid back and lets me do things like go outside and is less worried about me if im out too late. But i dont even go outside anymore since i barely have friends :feelsrope:

you dont need to change yourself and become a rebellious kid to get freedom. theres plenty of ways to escape without being a retard like me. For example, its very hard but money maxxing is great. You can open separate bank accounts, multiple of them and transfer money in there regularly to use without ur parents finding out.

It's hard. I spent a lot of time of my life trying not to make my parents angry. Trying to fit in what they think and I should do; trying to find workarounds between what I really want and what they want, but it never works and it never will. It's just an anxiety farm.

Some day, not necessarily now or because of this reason, you will have to make ur parents angry or treat them like normal external people, and they need to understand this too as it is really hard for them.

Yes I think it’s now or never for me. I either make the decision to upset them now or live a life of regret and misery.

Lol my parents stole all my savings then took out a bunch of loans in my name to tank my credit. I’d make sure you transfer that shit to something you can access homie

Y they aren't like that anymore
because they're mostly culturally one religious, which is mainly Christian. they dont actually believe it but their lives sort of revolve around the aesthetic of Christianity.

theres no fear of God in them.

It’s worse being an only child. You get all their attention. At least if I had siblings, I would have someone to share the pain with

Nothing wrong with being an adult living with your parents, saves a shitload of money and keeps valuable connections/support

lol I’m still spending money on poison because I have my own money that I’m earning, just would have 4K more to spend and add to my surgery fund

when did i say it was bad at his age? point was that if he lived away from home, he wouldnt need to deal with any of this. op doesnt have support, he has curry watchdogs on him.

tell this to your parents see what they think honesty is important.

It doesn’t matter what they think. It’s my money and as an adult I should have full authority over what I do with my money. Their opinion is irrelevant.
