My parents haven't taught me any useful skills in life

So today i was going back home from coaching with my mother, and i saw a kid below my age(17) driving a car past us, and it reminded me of the fact that i am one year away from being able to legally drive cars myself, but what was the point of doing that if i didnt even know basic tasks, such as changing light bulbs, making food, organizing food stuff, not understanding money and finances, not being "street" smart, and all the other things important to do when youre alone and climb up the ladder in life.
I fucking hate how my parents have only forced me to use my above average IQ in math and books (i ace VERY easily in academics even without studying as i ldar most of the time) and set me up for being a betabuxx instead of focusing on actual skills that i will be using in real life.
Anyone else feel like this ?
