They never let me do anything or go anywhere (still don’t) without accompanying me, saying no completely, or spam calling and texting me over and over again.

I have never been to a friends house, I have never hung out with anyone outside of school, I have never gone to a school event.

my dad isn’t that type of immigrant. He was upper class in Iraq and we are middle class here. My dad got a full visa because he worked in the ministry of interior and was granted one by a bill passed by congress.
