Happened to me once. I left my laptop on my bed and went to get something from the kitchen and when I came back the whole screen was shattered. I started believing in ghosts that day.

It's madness.I turned my pc off yesterday and noticed it said ''check signal cable'' on it even though I didn't touch anything..

Mine looked like this after I came back even though it was perfectly normal before I left for 2 seconds. And I placed it gently on my bed.
