Let's say you have a bad memory due to ADHD. One of your uncles decides to steal money you had in your bed, and then when you blame him because he was the only one at home and you know he stole it, he will say to the rest of the family "Nah come on, you know he has a bad memory. He just lost it somewhere. You just have a bad memory, stop dragging the family into your problems".

After that, you "Do something about it" and act aggressively or start insulting him. The only thing that would ever do is to put you in an even worse situation.

Life isn't a easy as that. I always cringe at people who go around saying to everyone "Muh i would fight the cashier if she didn’t give me back the two cents". Sure man, as if it was just that easy and going to end as you want it.
