my side profile chin looks recessed but i have an overbite and my maxilla looks recessed someone's please tell me what to tell my ortho i have braces

If you have an overbite, it's not that your chin looks recessed, it's that it IS recessed. What can you say to your orthodontist? That exactly, ask him if there's anything to be done about your chin recession and the overbite, more than likely you're getting referred to a maxillofacial surgeon.

The overbite is listed in the treatment plan for the braces though so doesn't that mean he's gonna fix the the recession or? and what about my maxilla? Can only the surgeon fix that?

Only because the mandible is recessed, which you can tell from the short ramus and high gonian angle (symptoms of mouth breathing during craniofacial development). Surgery could ascend you massively

I'll just fraud like this since it looks kinda okay when I'm not biting but I thought since I'm still a teen my ortho could fix it but I'll surgerymaxx if not
