I'm a pretty good looking guy who has broad appeal IMO and my looks aren't polarizing at all. I would say most, if not all people would say I'm conventionally attractive and nobody would find me uncanny/ugly but nobody would find me very attractive either.
My friends mogs me, they are either slightly taller, slightly better frame or better pheno. I have the best physique in my friend groups because I'm lowkey a gymcel, but this doesn't save me. We're all similarly NT too and dress similarly, so it's really just my height, pheno and frame that kills my appeal.
I didn't think there was a big SMV gap between for example, 6'2 20.5" bidelt WASP prettyboy HTN and 6'3 20.5" bidelt Med robust prettyboy HTN or 6'3.5 21.5" bidelt WASP maesthetic chad (two of my friends), but there is.
When we compare results on dating apps and approaches at bars, there's a fair amount of girls attracted to both of us, but also a subset that only matches with them or approaches them and not me.
