i believe that looks are simple for men i think general rules can be applied considering you are in the 3-8/10 range (vast majority of people)
hookup, important note that girls very widely in how promiscuous they are (water) but for normal hookup situations its most likely you will get a girl who is at most 2-3 points lower than you are for example if you are 5/10 then a 3/10 girl or if you are 7/10 a 4-5/10 girl
notable exeptions.
alcohol or other drugs (very potent)
situational, (artificially low competition)
mentally ill foids, most permiscuous foids are damaged to some extent but some more than others, this is where game is critical, saying the right things and makin them feel safe with you may get you into their head, most useful when texting/calling them for a period of time.

converted hookup, not uncommon for drunk hookup or similar to turn into casual sex this can lead to a relationship. dick game critical in this case.
shared hobby, basically friends but easier to initiate like smoking weed for example. lots of guys i know becoming drug buddies with girls eventually hooking up or getting in a relationship. this plays into many of the exceptions as drug use is more common in damaged foids and hookups are far more likey to happen while intoxicated. drugs and alcohol will also create trust and closeness and make your time together positive even if your not very good socially. other hobbies will do kind of the same but drugs are the one activity that will have the highest success for hookup/fwb and eventually relasionship or depending on the drugs, mutual dependency.
this next part is more theory im not 100% sure about:
things get muddled at the extremes, its not hard for a 5/10 girl to find a 7/10 guy hitting her up on social media or dating apps. or in a club or bar. however who does the promiscuous 9/10 drunk girl at a music festival who just got cheated on by Chad hook up with? the answer is either
A she already has a 8+/10 fwb or man she can sleep with (likely)
or
B she will pick a 7+/10 guy if one is available but likely not lower, high likelihood of success to offer drugs in this case "wanna come back and smoke with me" for example, you get the idea. might be wrong tho who knows.
remember every girl above 3/10 gets insane amounts of validation and 100 people telling them they are hot every day. most girls egos are significantly inflated in this regard, thinking they are a catch even when they are 5/10. however 10/10 doesn't know she's 10/10 besides people telling her she is. you wouldn't believe it but a significant portion of 7+/10 girls hate how they look or deep down undervalue their worth. although there will be competition you may have a chance even if YOU think you don't have a chance because the girl is hot SHE doesn't know that. if that makes sense.

i would also add that in most of these scenarios i mention the best action is just to be kind the the foid. people thin this is not what you should do for some reason becouse you have to act like a jock chad. in reality jock chad is not mean to women he damages women by using them or cheating on them/breaking up with them. you get the idea. bieng nice/understanding especially to these damaged foids is generally a good policy. the best manipulation tactic is usually to build a connection. (be very nice and sweet and talk often) then withdraw your attention but not in a mean way. just seem disinterested. building a connection with a foid and talking every day late at night then withdrawing your attention will make the foid feel like its her fault and make her think about you 1000k more. the goal is for her to think YOU are the one shes gonna regret if you get away. that means you have to find the things she hates about herself and reassure her or make her feel seen, shes likely damaged and has trauma so try to make her confess this trauma to you. then hold the threat of you loosing intrest over her head, but never ever give her a reason to blame you for it. thats not the point of this thread but i thought i would just put it in here as that is in my opinion the number one way to get these damaged foids hooked on you.
