It is indeed over for my subhuman skin as it is now peeling down by daily use of tretinoin , i advise you niggers to not use it daily. end of autism field report

Peeling isn't necessarily a bad thing with tretinoin. (obviously if you've gone overboard and your skin is massively angry, thats a different matter)

It's all fucking normal. If you're not shedding like a fucking snake while on Tretinoin than you're not even trying.

Optimal usage is whatever your skin can take. If your skin can take ever day then yes.

Problem is with these blokes on here is that they don't moisturise after tretinoin use and/or start with a too high dosage DAILY.

I have never had any flaking on 0.025% 4x a week.

You are retarded. You are supposed to ease into it with a lower percentage first, and not use every day. And you aren't supposed to "smear" it all over your face, you are supposed to use a pea sized amount.

LMAO I bet you weren't even wearing adequate sun protection while on it.

Yeah I mean I understand the enthusiasm to start shit and get stuck in but shit man. Its not going kill you to wait a few extra days.
But peeling/flaking with tret (generally) isn't an issue.

Stop using it and start moisturizing like crazy to fix your dry skin. Stop using it for the moment, let it heal, then continue using small amounts of it spread out (not every day) and moisturize like crazy. If necessary use a lower dosage of it.

Exactly what parts of your face are peeling, and is there redness as well?

In my case the sides of my nose extending to the nasolabial folds and My forehead turns red. I've stopped using it and I'm using cerave mousturizing cream for dry skin, and it's helping bring the redness down.

Use moisturiser few minutes after applying, and only apply once every two to three days of its that’s bad; let your skin get used to it. Use only a pea sized amount as well.

Pea sized amount, start with 0.025 and once a week. Then up it to twice, then 3 times a week then everyday. Then go up to 0.05%.
During this whole time, moisturize constantly to combat the redness/shedding and ofc use spf50 every morning for sun protection

Apparently your skin will go through a period of looking like complete shit before it starts to get better with retinoids. You just have to stick it out

Even if you never go out, UVA rays go through the window. Protection from the sun is vital when using tretinoin.

jfl are you memeing?

No I'm dead serious. You won't get burned staying inside, because it blocks most UVB rays. But UVA rays are primarily responsible for photoaging, and they go thorugh glass.

Obviously not to the same extent as direct hits from the sun, but it still hits your skin, and will damage your skin even more when using retinoids.

And keep in mind most american sunscreens have inadequate UVA protection. In the future, it is likely the FDA will approve new ingredients to block UVA. European and Asian sunscreens have more approved UVA filters that offer good UVA protection.
