What are your thoughts on Nietzsches philosophy?

I agree with his evaluation that power is the driving force for human action

As well as his rejection for traditional moral constraints, his idea that individual empowerment is what matters most and self creation and existentialism

I don’t agree with his obsession with strength and power I think that a man creating the world he desires is inherently noble

In my eyes Jesus is a hero because he shaped the world in his image for example

But Nietzsche would reject this

so if a man created a world where every toddler when they turn 3 years old is tortured that would be noble

on a personal level I would say no

But philosophically speaking, assuming he came to that conclusion through self creation yes

If you could actually do that yea

But I wouldn’t let that happen because it goes against my ability for self actualization

woudlnt u need strength and power to achieve that goal tho? they work hand in hand

you cant shape the world in accordance with your own ideal if you lack the means to do so

You’re using strength in a different context from what I meant

Nietzsche viewed the focus on weakness brought by christian views on ethics as inherently bad

Which is something I reject, that’s why Nietzsche attacks Jesus in his world “der anti christ”

But I view Jesus as heroic for shaping the world he embraced self actualization and went against the standard of his time

Nietzsche’s actual strong man philosophy in the modern world would end in a nuclear holocaust.
