Assholes are collaborating with Netflix, Prime, Hulu, and others to enforce 25 Mbps minimal bandwidth, or customers can take the ads package for a lower price. Brutal. I had no problems for several months using that service at 10-18 Mbps, then Netflix announced cheaper packages with ads. Boom! HBO joined and implemented that policy I just mentioned. Fuck HBO. Fuck them all. I'm going back to pirating.

Peacock isn't just Peacock anymore. Motherfuckers monopolized free streaming. Roku allows them to spam index their search engine. So say if you search for CBS, the first listing will be a clone of CBS owned by Peacock. Peacock has hundreds of different names today. Close to a billion dollars they've made from free streaming schemes. I tried it once. Over a year ago. I was feeling cheap. So I wanted to rebinge a show I couldn't find on the paid apps. So I'm watching it on Peacock. No ads at first. "SWEET!" I felt. Ugh. Three episodes in, here comes the ads. At first, two 10/20 second ones. Then 5 mins later, 4 ads totaling 2 minutes. Eventually, every two-four minutes watching a show, you'll have to watch 3-6 minutes of ads. Brutal! So I counted them for research purposes. To watch a 54-minute show, you'll have to watch 45 minutes of ads. THAT'S how Peacock is making a fortune.

HBO separated from Prime. You can't add them through Amazon anymore. And I'm pretty sure the same applies to Hulu.

I'm against those streaming apps! When I made this thread, HBO was working just fine. Then a week ago, an error began. I contacted tech, and they had me run through all sorts of bullshit from clearing cache to rebooting/factory reset/yadda yadda. Eventually, it came down to whats my bandwidth and IP address. I told them it was 8 Mbps. At that time. It fluctuates. They didn't answer. So I searched that query online and located a help section on the HBO site. And it stated all customers must now have at least 25 Mbps to access the AD-free package. If you have less, you must take the cheaper package with ads. So I told them to go fuck themselves, refund my money, lick my asshole, and call me Mary. They didn't answer at first. The next day, they replied, "Your refund is being processed. Goodbye."


Goodbye?? Ugh.
