So over the past year or so (i’m 18) I’ve developed naso folds cuz i used to constantly push my upper lip out to give the appearance of a better maxilla. I’ve stopped doing that since I’ve gotten ortho work to fix my maxilla but the folds r still there. How do I get rid of them? They’re not too noticeable irl but very noticeable in most pictures.

go outside, 99% of people have them, even children.
Lmao I definitely had them when I was like 9 (on a picture). Likely due to my recessed maxilla

It is not really noticeable for anyone, unless it's outside the norm
it's more visible on photos than it is in real life that's why people think they're special.

Only people with bad bones and fat have it
no amount of bones prevents you from getting them delusional retard.

Legitametely stop smiling. Stop doing unnecessary facial expressions. Nasolabial folds cime from repetitive expressions and age. Think of it as leather when it comes to your skin bc thats what it is technically. Leather breaks down over time the more its exposed to movements and will crease. Same thing with your skin. Thats why leather gets conditioned to stop the aging of leather, and so do that with your skin. Find a good skincare routine, stay hydrated, practice not using facial expressions, and also use tape in areas you dont want to crease. I use foam tape on my nasolabials and 11 area then finish off with mouth tape when sleeping. Sleeping erratically also cause facial squishing promoting nasolabial folds, so practice sleeping on back as much as possible
